I had originally planned this to be a post where I talked about the best vibrators that have wowed and rocked my world – but I realised that actually, I haven’t reviewed or used nearly as many vibrators as I thought I had – and I even though I could recommend all of them, it kind of defeats the point of choosing my ‘top picks’. So instead, i’ve chosen to list my final ‘Top Picks’ here.

Hopefully, by this time next year, I will have much more to choose from when creating my shortlists! I also have decided that I may end up going ‘off blog’ and referring to reviews I have hosted on Lovehoney – so whilst some of the choices on my list haven’t been included on the blog, they have indeed been used and rated – I will link to the external review where applicable. REVIEW: Pipedream Extreme Vibrating and Rotating Head Teazer

This will be the sixth vibrating male masturbator that I have tried. This one has the added perk of ‘rotating’ as well. Massage plays an important part in our bedroom. They can be slow and sensual, and are a great precursor to something a little bit more vigorous and exciting! As we were celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary, I wanted to get a few things to make an evening to remember. Usually, we do massage the old fashioned way with plenty of oil and bare hands – but I thought it was about time to try something different.

I saw this massager on Lovehoney, and despite there not being any reviews for it; for £12.99 I thought it was well worth taking a gamble. This massager vibrates, so I had hoped that it would be able to provide a deeper, more intense massage to really help work out those kinks and stresses. So did it live up to it’s expectations… well let’s find out.

REVIEW: PULSE by Hot Octopuss Vibrating Male Masturbator

The sex toy market is saturated with male masturbators, and as such – this means that a lot of them offer a like-for-like experience. I always look for anything that offers a new and interesting twist on masturbation. Don’t get me wrong, Fleshlights are great, and stroker sleeves can be quite fun – but sometimes you just want something different. That was when I was introduced to the Fun Factory Cobra Libre – this brought a whole new dimension of stimulation, as it was designed to provide direct stimulation to the frenulum – as there are hundreds of sensitive nerve points. It was a revelation. Then came the Apollo Power Stroker. This followed a similar concept to the Cobra Libra, but was designed to be more like a Fleshlight – but the idea was still the same – it provided direct stimulation to the frenulum. Then the PULSE by Hot Octopuss arrived on the scene – claiming to be a revolutionary new ‘guybrator’ (a vibrator for guys, in case that wasn’t obvious). I had to laugh at first, because initially, it looks a tad silly – in fact, it looks like it’s come from a galaxy far, far away. I knew it would completely appeal to my husband as he is a total sci-fi nut. But I read several reviews in which people had raved about it’s power and function – so, naturally I felt it was time to give it a try – especially when I was taught that you should never judge a book (or a masturbator) by it’s cover. REVIEW: Nexus Revo Stealth Prostate Massager

Note: This review is based off a sample which was sent for testing. The official retail product may differ slightly. As far as i’m aware, the only thing that will be different between this version, and the one you will be able to buy, is the packaging, and a sample of lube will also be included. 

Since discovering the pleasures of Prostate stimulation, I am always looking out for something new and different. The L’Amourose Prostate Massager that I bought a little while ago completely blew my mind, with both it’s power and how incredibly quiet it was. I’ve reviewed a Nexus massager before (The Max 5 – you can see my review of that here) and I have to admit, I was not impressed. When I was asked by Lovehoney if I would test this, I was a little dubious, but after seeing some of the reviews for the Nexus Revo 2, I was little more intrigued and excited.

REVIEW: Rocks Off Hand Solo 7 Speed Masturbator

With the various sleeves and masturbators I have, i’m always looking for something new and unusual – something that dares to be different. The Rocks Off ‘Hand Solo’ looked like it would fit the bill – and took the plunge, using my precious Lovehoney Oh! Points – and yesterday, it arrived. Vibrations and Masturbation seem to be a match made in heaven, if you ask me.
